12. How long is the normal agreement with an
advertiser?
Agreements are either for a six month or one year
period.
13. What is it about this form of advertising
which is appealing to businesses?
This is a cost effective and extremely affordable
advertising medium – for small fee usually around
$2 a day to advertise EVERYDAY. Compare that to the hundreds
and thousands it costs to place newspaper ads or direct
mail whose benefits only last a day or two and then end
up in the trash. What better way for businesses to find
new customers than to have their cards on display and available
to interested people in high traffic locations?
14. Do the advertisers supply their own business
cards?
Advertisers may supply their own cards in the
following standard format: Imperial measure: 3.5" x
2" (to a max of 2 1/8" x 3 9/16") Metric
9 cm x 5.5 cm on 350 gram paper. We do recommend that business
owners seriously consider us printing your promotional
cards as we will be able to always ensure that we maximise
the effect they have to generate a greater response and
also have an ample supply of cards on hand prior to restocking
the displays. It is also less time consuming for you and
much better than continually dropping in to ask for more
cards from you.
15. How many cards on average are consumed per
month?
In our experience, and depending on the advertiser
and the location, a normal take rate is between 20-60 cards
per advertiser per month.
16. Do you provide any other support?
Yes we are offering other forms of sales and marketing
advice, free information, editorial advertising, sales
promotional copywriting, hints, tips, self help guides
to help our local businesses to strive beyond where there
at and to help reduce the failure rate of small business
in Australia.
